Olympia athletes did well in Amman!

BENJAMIN SEREM (KEN) won the full marathon race followed by VICTOR KIMELI (KEN). The race was little disturbed by the wind and the wet asphalt (due to the early morning rain) that made the ground slippery during the first hour of the race.

Despite of that, both the Olimpia athletes achieved to closed the race under the limit of 2:20 and gaining the Bonus offered by the Organizer.

In women category YESHUMIE EJIGU (ETH) won the race by running practically all the race alone and REBECCA TALLAM (KEN), despite a pain in one leg, finished in second position.

Same story in the half marathon distance with EPRAHIM MWANGI (KEN) who took the lead in the last 2 Km of the race, after fighting shoulder to shoulder with a strong Jordan runner who closed in second position.

WELL DONE OLYMPIA!!!!
