TRAINING 

As an Altitude Training Center we are privileged to be located in the highlands of Ethiopia where the climate is perfect for running 365 days a year. Our Center is host to some world class athletes and yet at the same time welcomes amateur runners who would see themselves develop a personal best at any distance while enjoying the cameraderie of training with professionals. The science is simple: Your body adapts to the high altitude by producing more red blood cells. When you come back to sea level you have better Oxygen carrying capacity thus enhancing peformance. Our center is also the home of the Lebanese Olympic Marathon running team.            MARATHON RUNNING

 

One of the greatest personal physical challenges a person can undertake in this age is to run 42.195km. The Marathon Distance. We train, coach and develop all levels of runners. Your program is customized to your fitness and your personal ability, and scientifically related to your physical maximum capacity.

In the running world there is no such thing as a "cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all" program. You need a program that meets your personal needs. And training for runners is not only about how far you can run and how fast. It incorporates a high degree of personal fitness that you are going to have to work on. We will help you get there, with lifestyle changes that will become excellent habits.

 

Personal pacers are up till now a privilege of the elites. We can provide you with your own personal race day pacer for any AIMS/IAAF Marathon in the world. You will train with them and run your PB together.

There are very important tiny adjustments that you can make to your training that deliver amazing results, beyond just being at altitude. Your posture, your body mechanics, your warm up exercises, your post running/work out routines, your recovery programs are all integral to High Performance Fitness

           NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

 

We take a holistic approach to getting you to the finish line with a personal best PB, and perhaps with a record. One of our athletes went on to become the World Champion in Marathon Distance. It's not only about the work you set for your body. It is also crucially about how you fuel your body. We teach you how to eat to win.

           THE TRAINING CENTER

 

Situated at 2600m above sea level on the East side of Addis Ababa you are within short distance from many of the best running trails in the world. Solulta Road is 20 minutes away. You will run on unlimited stretches of grass, through forests and out in the wide open. On the day of your speed trials you will run with top Ethiopian International Athletes!
