Amman International Marathon

Here we go... another year and Olympia Athletes are set to be on the start line of yet another edition of the impressive Amman International Marathon (and Half!).

The race runs through the historic center of the city, passing breathtaking landmarks such as the ancient roman theater and modern architecture like the Amman Municipality building. The contrasts are amazing. Keep your eyes open and you will see both a donkey pulling a cart and a Lamborghini at the same time.

The race winds its way up to the top end of the city and rolls down to the bottom, and then completes the race in two loops.

Our athletes are selected for their ability to fight the hills and the heat; even though it is November, the temperatures can still get up to 17 or 18 degrees. The start is at 6am, so that helps.

We are proud to be partners with the race and look forward to registering more PB's and hopefully a course record.
